Whether Your Magnesium Works
Comes Down To One Word On The Label.

Not the brand or the dose — the form. It’s one word on the back of the bottle, and most drugstore brands use the cheap one. The free Wind-Down Protocol names the word to look for.

What’s Inside

The Wind-Down Protocol

A specific 20-minute sequence for the hour before bed, so your body gets a clear, repeatable signal that it’s time to slow down. Five steps, done in order, starting an hour out.

Look At The Label

The form is everything.

Oxide

The inexpensive form most drugstore bottles use. Research suggests the body absorbs relatively little of it — which may be why some people take it for weeks and feel nothing.

Glycinate

The gentle, chelated form — magnesium bound to the amino acid glycine, chosen to be well-absorbed and easy on the stomach.

Same mineral. A very different word on the label.

Why the form matters

The U.S. National Institutes of Health’s Office of Dietary Supplements notes that magnesium’s forms differ in how well the body takes them up, and that the inexpensive oxide form is typically absorbed less completely than other, better-formulated forms.

This is the whole reason the guide exists — a wind-down routine only pays off if the form you’re taking (if any) is one your body can actually use. The free Wind-Down Protocol walks through both: the ritual, and the label check.
